I almost never write letters of recommendation. My only exception is for truly outstanding performance. Elena Bluntzer and her Executive Assistant, Jennifer Cordoba, were most helpful and professional in helping us find our new home! Knowing the general area where we wished to relocate, I researched properties and realtors. I picked out a dozen properties that I thought had potential. It was time to engage a professional. I have good friends with Sotheby’s in Denver. They recommended an affiliate familiar with “South of 5th,” Coral Gables and Coconut Grove, FL — Elena Bluntzer. I sent my list of potential properties along with why I thought these homes could fit the bill. Elena and Jennifer arranged visits to most of these. Also, they chased down answers to questions on the various properties. Elena quickly learned our favored style and preferences — especially from several properties I ruled out (or she did). After a densely packed few days, Elena suggested that I view a property, a little outside my search zone and target price range. She perceived a fit and she was right! I arranged a second visit, this time with my wife, for final confirmation from among the top four. Elena shared her candid opinion that one of the properties was significantly over priced. I value her honesty. We decided: “Yes!” to Elena’s addition and “what were you thinking?” about my other three. Elena counseled me on making an appropriate offer and suggested a local attorney. Elena maintained close communications with the developer while the attorney scrubbed the details. We reached a deal and have closed. Attention to detail and local knowledge of the market were critical in this transaction. Personal chemistry and candor made it fun. Both Elena and Jennifer were a pleasure to work with. If you’re considering a South Florida residence, I whole heartedly recommend The Bluntzer Group.Brickell Buyer
